Reporting to a CDO, this is a newly created position to help a leading manufacturer of advanced products in a group wide digital transformation. The position will look to drive the use of Data into product development, internal processes and external communication. The position is a broad role looking at strategy, innovation and implementation of cutting-edge data science technology into the group. There will be the opportunity to develop a team that will support you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy conception for data-driven business models and development of use cases for data-driven business models
  • Analysis of data sources available in the group and implementation of new sources
  • Definition of group-wide / data relevant business objectives
  • Develop requirements from the current digital business models IT system landscape
  • Coordinating interface between Digital and Global IT
  • Provide input on the use of advanced use of Analytics and Data Science

    • Key Requirements:

  • In-depth hands-on experience in new technologies (AI, IoT, Analytics and Big Data, Robotics, Blockchain, Cloud and statistical analytics / applications such as Tableau)
  • Qualification ideally from a relevant numeric discipline: Mathematics , computer science or equivalent
  • Conception and implementation of data/analytics projects
  • Interest in and Innovation and the development of new technology and business models
  • Experience in cutting-edge data science methods
  • Programming or understanding of Code desirable
